Tomorrow is my birthday. I am officially 20 years old.

 

    It's late in the evening and my friends are preparing this surprise party for me over next room. Actually it's not surprise at all. They said they would call in an hour and then I come knock the door. Make-ups on, hairs brushed... now I stand in front of the closet, wondering what clothes to wear. I can't believe in an hour I'll become a 20 something girl...

 

    I am in my room, walking on my toes. I look into the mirror and see this lovely pretty girl, fair skin tone, long black hair, sparkling eyes, pink lips and cute smile. O, I feel wonderful tonight because I see the love light in my eyes. And the wonder of it all is that I feel my family and friends are all by my side.

 

    I turn out the light, standing by the window. I watch out and the city looks so peaceful under the sweet stillness. Only for awhile, I know you are here, no matter who love me, hate me, cherish me or trash me... I wish upon a star,

   

    I say, "Birthday girl, you look wonderful tonight."
